STRATEGIC PRIORITY

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND OUTREACH

  • INCREASE FAMILY AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

    Led by the newly created Office of Family and Community Engagement, we will develop opportunities to empower families to become stronger advocates for their children.

  • BUILD STRONGER COMMUNICATIONS AND OUTREACH EFFORTS

    During the Superintendent’s listening tour, parents, teachers, and business partners shared a need for more effective district communication. As such, we will increase the delivery of open and timely communications about district and campus events and initiatives. We will expand and improve our communication channels including updated district and campus websites, social media, and outreach to local media.

  • DEVELOP PARTNERSHIPS

    The Aldine ISD community has stood beside the district for years, often providing financial and human resources to support campus leaders, district initiatives, and families. We will build on these strong partnerships and create new ones to ensure faith-based, civic, postsecondary, and business organizations are engaged in our plans to accelerate student progress.

Students are the center of our work. They are why we must make bold decisions and invest in building the capacity of every teacher, leader, and staff member. They are why we need to create safe and secure learning environments focused on preparing every Aldine ISD student for success. As we take a new approach to community engagement and outreach, we are dedicated to elevating district pride by strengthening partnerships with families, community leaders, and business partners.

EVERY ALDINE ISD STUDENT DESERVES…

  • a voice in their educational experience;
  • to be proud of their school and district;
  • transparent and timely information about the things happening in their school and across the district; and
  • access to meaningful experiences offered throughout the community.
